Berts in Dubai

I want this place to be good, I really do! It's one of the few convenient places I can go sit outside with my dog. Unfortunately the food is not good and I usually only order simple things like eggs, juices, and fries. I would suggest them to drastically reduce their menu size and listings, and focus on doing more with less. I hope they will change for the better as I would love to sit here often.

The food is good and fresh. It is a good place to sit and catch up with friends or just have a quiet time...

Liked the place (got books and board games), but got shocked with our order. A sandwich with guacamole topping and everything else (can’t remember the exact name of our order), just a piece for over AED30 ... literally just a piece. Helpful staff though, that’s why I’m giving it 2 ⭐️. Not coming back very soon.

It used to be good, now its fulthy, dirty and useless staff

What a horrible experience. The staff did not show up for 20 mins even to clean our table, let alone take our order. Had to walk up with the menu and place it with them. Was way better earlier, not sure what happened with their service.

Lovely location. I just hope they kept the quality same. Somehow the quality of food and service is going down.

Our go to place for hangout. One reason that the ambiance is so cozy and homelike, the colors used in interior are subtle. And secondly the food, both breakfast items and the main course. We enjoy eating chili chicken there, stuffed chicken breast and their French toast is our favorite. Also they accept Zomato Gold which makes us order more and enjoy more

Food was good but not good enough to wait 1h 30 min to deliver breakfast.... I highly suggest that it's time to look over your logistics and planning. The excuse that you have 6 other deliveries is really not the customers issue, using this as a reason for the late delivery is really not my concern. That's just bad planning.

Very good coffee and menu in general, whether it's for a quick sandwich or an elaborated dish.

Bert's is one of my favorite restaurants in Dubai. We go to Bert's anytime of the day (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner) with the confidence that we will not be disappointed with the food or services. They have an extensive menu catering all your taste buds and moods.They accept Zomato Gold, which is a win win situation with the quality of food they serve.

The worst restaurant ever. I ordered breakfast at 11 am and paid it online and kept calling the restaurant and no one gave me answer for when I ll receive my order. I received it 1 pm cold and inedible. I am reporting this incident to Customers right department and I don't recommend this restaurant at all

Made an order 9.38 and it's been 1,5h and still have not got my food. 2 poached eggs doesn't take that long to deliver. It's come to the point where I'm making my own eggs now. This is my second order ever from this place and last because of the disappointment but it seems like you just don't know how to run your business. Just shut it down. I'm never ordering from you again. What a waste of morning energy....

This place has serious issues. The decor is old and strange, like a mish mash of competing ideas. There is a huge fridge in the middle of the cafe filled with soft drinks which...is this necessary? They couldnt make a proper cup of coffee and when you complain they try to make it seem like you don't know what youre talking about.i didn't bother arguing because the staff seemed to be miserable... not talking to each other or smiling. Just weird paranoid looks which was scary. The most depressing place Ive ever been to. Someone needs to just close it and put it out of its misery.

Since Michelle left coffee quality and general service has gone down. Such a shame

Decent place. Quick service however they slightly overcooked the eggs and it wasn't supposed to be on Salmon.

Great food, good gluten free options, nice outside area. Polite staff. Air conditioning is up really high so very cold inside even in Dubai :)

Not only was the breakfast and coffee absolutely delicious, but they gave out roses for Valentine’s Day. Really sweet gesture!

We visited for brunch. Nice clean environment, large serving size, specially enjoyed, Steak & Fries, plus Thai green chicken curry. Good customer service.

Horrible just horrible ! 🔺 never Again -> 1and half hour for a croissant that’s the size of half my palm While costa next door offers croissant cheaper and way bigger . -> A headache with ordering because they are too lazy to call you and let you know they don’t have an item . lesson learned for me . Just an advice never order from them !unless if you want to be ripped off and have a headache like me no wonder why they are closing , they should !

The prices were reasonable and the portions large. Used entertainer and got a very good deal on breakfast. Outside seating in the current weather is very pleasant.

Gorgeous food but service is slow, they also forgot an item we ordered.

It's getting worse. Before it was much better. All dishes very salty. literally the lips getting curl up. I often came to this cafe for lunch, but after they have cheated me several times, hardly I will come again. Total benefit that they had from cheating is about 20-40 Dhs, probably for them it's more important than losing a regular customer. Very sorry!

A regular hangout for us. Sometimes the out door seating looks tired. This year all good. Usual drink is the Sunrise which is great.

Ordered today from Zomato as per pic 1, received - pic 2. One piece of bread and half avocado by 38 aed. Contacted the restaurant, they said it's a wrong pic but they will send me for free the toast on the menu picture. Didn't receive anything 🙈 so disappointed

Love the idea of having books around, i can read books while having a cup of coffee, is difinitely feels like home. Try the smoothies its very nice.

It's ambience is quite relaxed and ideal for those wanting to put in extra work on their laptops without the pressure of an office setting. It also has a small library. I particularly liked how easy going the staff was. I only had time for a quick smoothie which was ok, but I'll definitely be back for the food.

Didn't get a chance to try their food but the coffee was absolutely horrible. We ordered an oat milk decaf latte and I'm pretty sure the oat milk was expired or severely burnt. The regular latte wasn't as bad but very bitter. Two doors over you have another coffee shop that is a hundred times better.

Food is ok. Service is generally poor, and it's rarely busy so that's not an excuse. The menu is huge and overdone for such a place, a simple A3/2 size menu would be fine and cheaper to buy. If they reduced the number of items on the menu they could probably improve the quality and service. The decor is strange, the outside tables are an inconvenient size and there is a huge display fridge that looks like something from a supermarket. Place needs work but has potential.

Food, service good but they don't have card enough machine, they sent the machine to delivery and we had to wait till the delivery come, we didn't have a cash and the card was credit card.

This cafe has entertainer promotion, but in fact they are not serving that option! Disappointed with this kind of service. Fraud.
